Betty Lowder, 75, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at Conway Medical Center. She was born December 2, 1948 in Loris, a daughter of the late Ted and Alberta Scronce.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Richard Lowder and sister, Cheryl Grainger.

Betty was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and reading.

Mrs. Lowder is survived by her children, Steve Lowder (Karen), Teddy Kirby Lowder and Maria Barfield (John); siblings, Blake Scronce (Debbie) and Ellen Cox (Eldon); three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.
