Barbara Jean Geschlecht, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 8, 1942 in Queens, NY, a daughter of the late Dominic Geloso and Hilda Hirschman Geloso.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Geschlecht Sr; brother, Nichlas Geloso.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed going to the beach for lunch, shopping and going on vacations. But she loved spending time with her family mostly.

Mrs. Geschlecht is survived by her children, Robert "Rob" W. Geschlecht Jr. (Karen), Jeanne M. Mauro (Sal) and Michael Geschlecht (Lora Merritt); sister, Gloria Breneske (Andrew); four grandchildren, Ryan Geschlecht (Sara), John Dorrer, Devan Dorrer (Danielle) and Alexandra Dorrer; two great grandchildren, Jackson Dorrer and Eleanor Dorrer and many other family and friends who will miss her.
