Obituary

Arthur J. Morrow Sr., 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, July 12, 2024 at Angel Oak Nursing and Rehab with his loving family by his side. He was born December 20, 1939 in St. Clair, PA., a son of the late Elwood E. and Martha C. Quick Morrow.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his siblings, Betty Wiecenski and Robert Morrow.

Art served in the US Army from 1958 until 1961 serving as an MP with the 101st Airborne, after attending Military Police school. He also served during the Korean Conflict for one year as an E4 and completed NCO Academy as an E5. From 1974 until 1977, he was enlisted with the NJ Army National Guard. He was a proud member and service officer of DAV and enjoyed being Commander of Chapter 57. Art was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved singing in his church and senior centers, hunting, fishing, golfing and going on cruise's. Art spent many happy hours with his dog, Heidi.

Mr. Morrow is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Geraldine A. Morrow; children, Arthur J. Morrow, Jr. (Meredith) and Sherri A. Eyer (Rhame); brothers, Thomas Morrow (Joyce) and Gary Morrow (Denise); grandchildren, Matthew Morrow, Kody Eyer and Daniel Morrow; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family, church family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Service will be held 2pm Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at S. Conway FWB Church with Rev. Ray Cribb officiating.

Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International or Chick Publications Atten: Mission Fund, PO Box 3500, Ontario, CA 91761-1019.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
