Anthony Paul
Ricardi
Aug 31, 1932 — Mar 25, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Ricardi, who left us peacefully on Tuesday, March 25 at the age of 92. Born and raised in New York, Anthony lived a full life, defined by service, love, and devotion to family.
Anthony proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War, a time that shaped much of his character and life. He was deeply committed to his family and friends, and was always there to lend a hand or share a laugh. In 1960, Anthony married his beloved wife Anita on October 29, after being engaged in March of that same year. Together, they built a loving life full of cherished memories.
In 1977, Anthony and Anita relocated to South Carolina, where he worked for the South Carolina Ports Authority, contributing to the growth of the state's infrastructure. They eventually made their home in Myrtle Beach in 2020, drawn by the desire to be close to their grandchildren. His family meant the world to him, and he found immense joy in watching his grandchildren—Jennifer and Matthew—grow, thrive, and pursue their dreams.
A passionate sports fan, Anthony was an avid supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks. He loved spending time with his grandkids, sharing and listening to stories, and catching a game of soccer. He was especially proud of his grandson Matthew's accomplishments, including watching him become a pilot and start his own flight school. Whether sitting on the beach, sipping wine, or enjoying a quiet moment with family, Anthony embraced life fully.
Anthony leaves behind his devoted wife, Anita, his son Paul and daughter-in-law Angie, daughter Toni and son-in-law Clete, his grandchildren Jennifer (Justin) and Matthew (Melanie), as well as a host of loving friends and family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts
