Annie Ruth Gasque Hucks, 88, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at Grand Strand Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 15, 1933, in Horry County, a daughter of the late Jethro Gasque and Frances Everette Tindall Gasque.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willie Thomas Hucks Sr.

Mrs. Hucks was a member of Grand Strand Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving her Lord and Savior. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family, especially spending time with them.

Mrs. Hucks is survived by her two children, Willie T. "Tommy" Hucks Jr. (Karen) and Reggie Hucks (Zelda); one grandson, Michael Hucks (Brooke) and her granddogs, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. Freddie Young officiating.

Entombment will follow at Poplar UMC Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
